Carpal tunnel surgery, as performed through a less-than 2cm incision, is demonstrated by John D. Mahoney, MD. This procdure is to relieve pressure on the median nerve, which occurs as a part of carpal tunnel syndrome. More information is available at www.doctormahoney.com This procedure was performed under tourniquet control, which is why there is not any bleeding.

because they give local anesthesia freezing with epinephrine which minimize bleeding . also probably they rapped the patient arm with tourniquet (like bleed pressure hand cuff) to stop blood from going to the hand.

@icecreamfeeze Best comment I have ever seen. You win an internet.
It seem that like this, there is more risk for a complication. I feel that surgeons should get all the room they need. And I really don’t care about scars too much. Someone gimme their opinion on that.
